Hi, I’m Ken Tassey. Most important to me is that I am a happy husband of 20 years and proud father of three great kids. I consider family as the building block of a sound community. I work hard to be an example that my children can be proud of, while having a positive impact on those whose lives I touch. My education in Asian History at Norwich University in Vermont and I know it does not have a lot to do with real estate finance but it has given me a broader view of the world, particularly since I have done both several years of missionary work and business in South Korea and I am married to a lovely gal from Kyoto, Japan. My professional background spans 25 years, starting when three friends and I bought a Ford van, tools and equipment and started a commercial building services company out of a basement apartment in New York City. None of us were from NY but why not start big? Our goal was to have major law firms, accounting firms and any big name NY company in our portfolio. Serving clients from Top 10 law firms Morgan, Lewis and Bockius; Duane Morris; and Skadden Arp to Top 10 accounting firms Arthur Anderson and Touche-Ross (now Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu) to the Helmsley Hotels chain, we accomplished our goals. It is in this manner of determination and persistence that I work on behalf of my clients. Needless to say the company grew. We all bought homes in our 20’s and ran the business successfully for eight years and it is still managed by one of my original partners today.In more recent years I traveled the eastern seaboard for an advertising company, provided financial consulting and business development services for a start-up medical software company and seven years ago migrated to the residential mortgage and commercial real estate finance industry. I know I am here to serve you!
